Tiny sharks live in the waters of my island. They never are that far from shore really. I’m pretty sure that hole in his side is a tiny shark bite. 

This is a really lovely photo of a deceased Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus), one of my favorite fish :)
